eLEARNING OR mLEARNING?
Belinda Johnston
Abstract:
Recently I was lucky enough to attend a two week trip to California to visit schools and observe good practice in e-Learning and ICT integration. The schools varied from low decile state (district) primary schools to private colleges and even a school owned by Will Smith! I went on the trip expecting to see 1:1 laptop schemes and ways to possibly implement this in the future. What I actually saw blew me away and now the laptops are all but forgotten! I am now a convert to mLearning or mobile learning! At this workshop I'll be sharing examples and highlights from the trip and some of the implications for future e-Learning strategic planning.
